What is a cast saw vacuum?

Cast saw vacuum systems are an optional accessory for most cast saws. The main unit is specifically designed to collect plaster and fiberglass dust by way of a long, flexible hose that is attached to the head of the cast saw handset.

Many of our vacuum systems are available at a reduced combination rate (cast saw and vacuum purchased together); or a vacuum system be purchased later as an add-on or replacement component.

We also offer a variety of vacuum types. Portable vacuum units may be more suited to mobile cast removal. If there is no dedicated cast room in your facility, considering the ease of moving the equipment may impact purchase decision. Similarly, larger, less-mobile units may be preferred due to their improved suction performance in a dedicated cast removal area.

Many of the vacuum systems we offer are manufactured by the same company as the saw handset. Using the vacuum unit designed for the saw often offers additional features such as vacuum control, saw control, and power distribution from a central location. So, considering saw/vacuum integration may be an important purchase consideration as well.
